2026–2027 New Zealand Linguistics Olympiad Season Officially Opens

The 2026–2027 New Zealand Linguistics Olympiad (NZLO) season is now underway.

NZLO invites secondary school students across New Zealand to explore the fascinating world of linguistics through logic, analytical thinking, and language problem-solving. Participants will have the opportunity to challenge themselves, develop critical thinking skills, and compete for a place in the national selection process leading to the International Linguistics Olympiad (IOL).
